In this game there are three ways to increase your score, first is to run as far as possible, the second is to collect as many bananas as possible and the third is to be despicable. As you are running you can collect bananas which can be used to upgrade the minion and buy power ups (see In App purchasing for more detail).

The running track mostly has three lanes which you can switch between. You must swipe left or right to dodge obstacles, and swipe up to jump and down to roll. You play as one of the minions, running through their secret laboratory. Most of the gameplay, however, involves simply jumping over obstacles, sliding under others and collecting bananas.

Each level has its own objective for completion and progression to the next level this objective can be as simple as ‘slide under three different obstacles’ or ‘keep running for thirty seconds’.

Minion Rush is a straightforward runner – where, in each level, you play a Minion who automatically hurtles through beautifully imaginative environments.
